Burnet Democrats to gather

Democrats from Burnet County and surrounding areas will gather Thursday in Granite Shoals for dinner and a visit with Woodie Jones, justice of the Third Court of Criminal Appeals.

Jones will comment on the Texas court system and give a review of the constitutional amendments to be on the November ballot.

A grilled chicken dinner will be served at 6 p.m. at The Cafe, 906 N. Phillips Ranch Rd, one mile south of RR 1431. Dinner is $7 per person.
