FB sending three youths to District 8 contests

Three Lampasas students will participate in the Texas Farm Bureau District 8 youth contests in Temple on Saturday at 7:30 p.m. at the Temple Activity Center, next door to the Mayborn Center.

Sara Jackson, daughter of Randall and Diana Jackson, will represent the county in the District Miss Farm Bureau contest.

Trevor McGuire, who attended the Farm Bureau Leadership Conference in San Angelo in June, will compete in the District 8 Free Enterprise Speech Contest. He is the son of Wes and Marie McGuire.

Competing in the District 8 Talent Find will be Rachel Wolfe, daughter of Lewis and Reba Wolfe.

Winners receive a scholarship and are eligible to compte in the Texas Farm Bureau State Contest in December.

The public is invited to the Temple event.
