Deaths Mr. Johnson Kenneth Clayton Johnson, 81, of Fredericksburg died Oct. 1, 2007, at the Veterans Hospital in Kerrville. Graveside services were Oct. 4 at Senterfitt Cemetery near Lometa with the Rev. Sam Crosby officiating. Mr. Johnson was born July 8, 1926, in Goldthwaite, the son of Lawrence and Jimmie Charlotte Smith Johnson. He was a ranch hand and a cowboy and a World War II veteran of the U.S. Army.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Johnson, of Fredericksburg; a son, Clayton Johnson, of Lometa; two brothers, Raymond Johnson, of Fort Worth, and David Johnson, and wife, Mary Jean, of Burleson; a sister, Velma Brister, of Lometa; granddaughter, Amanda Tower, and husband, Phillip, of Lometa; two great-grandchildren, Kenneth Tower and Rebecca Tower; and numerous nieces and nephews. |
