Advocacy center offers training class

Children's Advocacy Center is hosting training on primary prevention of sexual violence on Oct. 18. "Sexual Violence Prevention: Beginning the Dialogue," is an introduction to primary prevention and public policies for communities.

Participants may attend the training from either 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. or 1-4:30 p.m. at the Burnet Community Center, 401 E. Jackson, Burnet.

Presenters include nationally recognized experts on the prevention of sexual violence.

Licensed master social workers, licensed professional counselors and law enforcement will receive continuing education credits for the free training.
