State park to present festival

Colorado Bend State Park will present its Fall Friends Festival Oct. 13 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the park near Bend in San Saba County.

Bring a picnic lunch and camera and plan to spend the day.

There will be self-guided tours to Gorman Falls, a 65-foot waterfall in the Texas Hill Country, and to Gorman Springs.

Wild cave tours of Gorman Cave are offered hourly from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. for $15 per person for those 6 and up.
