It's a boy!

John and Stephanie Smothers of Lampasas are the parents of a son, Jaden Andrew, born Aug. 23, 2007, at 4:48 p.m. at Metroplex Hospital in Killeen.

Upon arrival, Jaden weighed 5 pounds, 2 ounces and was 18 1/2 inches in length.

Grandparents are Stephen and Renee Minshew, and Henry and Ramona Smothers, all of Kempner.

Daughter born

Ben and Britni Henniger of Chappel are the parents of a daughter, Audey Jo, born Sept. 5, 2007, at 3:05 p.m. at Georgetown.

Upon arrival, Audey Jo weighed 8 pounds, 1 ounce and was 20 inches in length.

Grandparents are Shane and Crystal Varney of Lampasas, and Lloyd and Pam Henniger of Chappel.

Great-grandparents are Margaret Lewis and Pam Varney, both of Lampasas.
