Former LISD official announces retirement
      Dr. Jerry Christian, superintendent of the Alamo Heights Independent School District since 1995 and a former Lampasas ISD school superintendent, has announced he will retire in the summer of 2008. Christian began his career as a teacher in 1966 at Kimball High School in the Dallas ISD.
