Lake Victor Baptist to observe anniversary

Lake Victor Baptist Church will celebrate 100 years with music, fellowship, cake and punch on Sunday at 3 p.m. at the church.

The first building was constructed in September 1907. Services were held once a month, and eventually increased to twice each month.

The church began holding fulltime services in 1951.

Today, Lake Victor Baptist Church has Sunday School, Sunday morning worship, junior morning worship and Women's Bible Study. In the summer, Vacation Bible School is held. A Fifth-Sunday Singing also is offered.

The public is invited to the anniversary celebration.

The Fifth-Sunday Singing will not be held this month.
