Ducks stop JV White After falling behind 12-0 in the first quarter the Lampasas High junior varsity White Team matched the Ducks the rest of the way in an 18-6 loss on Thursday. After Taylor took an 18-0 lead in the third quarter, LHS' Tanner Mobley got the Badgers on the board with a three-yard scoring run. Austin Murray completed 8-of- 13 passes for 99 yards and two interceptions, and Zach Radenz caught three passes for 58 yards. Edward Grant led the defense with six tackles while Rush Seaver and Matt Finto chipped in with five tackles apiece. "We started off slow but came back and played well from the second quarter on," coach Stephen Hermesmeyer said. "We have to be more aggressive on both sides of the ball.
