Tennis swept at Vista Ridge

The Lampasas tennis team was swept 19-0 at Vista Ridge on Tuesday.

"We started out hitting through our shots and attacking, but as the matches wore on we were intimidated and had no drive," LHS head coach Kenneth Peiser said. "We were up in six of the matches, but could not win a single one. I thought Stanley Smith played very well tonight. He was aggressive and made some oustanding shots but lost in three sets. It was a rough night of play and discouraging to see 15 juniors and seniors not play up to their potential because they were afraid of losing."

LHS is scheduled to play at Fredericksburg Saturday at 9 a.m.
