Seminar set for paralegals

The Bell County Bar Association Paralegals will host a seminar entitled "Law Office 101" on Oct. 26 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Hilton Garden Inn in Temple. It is designed for attorneys and paralegals new to the legal profession.

Registration fees are $85 for Bell County Bar Association members and $95 for non-members. After Oct. 15, the fee increases to $95 for members and $105 for non-members.

Topics will include client relations, legal aid, client interviewing, civil litigation, wills, probate and guardianships, real estate, limited liability companies, limited partnerships, criminal law, family law, civil process (with an emphasis on serving papers on military bases) and e-filing.

Approval for 7.5 MCLE credit is pending.
