Law enforcement officials release arrests The following arrests have been reported by law enforcement officials. Sept. 12 -- Benjamin Guevera Ramirez, 35, of Lometa for criminal trespass. As of press time Thursday morning, he was still in the Lampasas County Jail. -- Richard Ray Ellyson Jr., 22, of Copperas Cove for driving while intoxicated and accident involving damage. He was in jail on Thursday morning. Sept. 11 -- Phillip Owen Jackson, 26, of Lampasas for driving while intoxicated. He made bond Wednesday. -- Max Castaneda Jr., 20, of Lampasas for hindering apprehension/ prosecution; prohibited weapons, switchblade; and possession of marijuana under two ounces. He bonded out Wednesday. Sept. 9 -- John Claude Lee, 27, of Austin for failure to identify giving false information/fictitious information; possession of marijuana under two ounces; and driving while license invalid. He posted bond and was released the same day. Sept. 8 -- Ricky Stephen Allen, 48, of Lampasas for criminal trespass; public intoxication; and consuming alcohol in a prohibited area. He posted bond on Sept. 9, and was rearrested the same day for criminal trespass. He bonded out on Sept. 10. -- Andrew Lewis Perrin, 43, of Los Alamos, N.M., on a bond forfeiture for driving while intoxicated, third or more. He was still in the county jail on Thursday morning. -- Daniel Leith Sawhook, 36, of Corpus Christi for driving while intoxicated; driving while license invalid; and failure to maintain financial responsibility. He bonded out the same day. Sept. 7 -- Nicole Lee Matney, 28, of Lampasas for interfering with an emergency call. She made bond the same day. -- Marvin Eldon Matney II, 41, of Lampasas for assault causing bodily injury. Bond was posted the same day. Sept. 6 -- Scott Benton Wright, 39, of Lampasas on a Coryell County warrant for criminal non-support. He was transported to Coryell County on Sept. 7. -- Joseph Louis Lefferts, 23, of Killeen for evading arrest or detention. He posted bond on Sept. 7. Sept. 5 -- Jaime Rodriguez, 29, of Lampasas for assault causing bodily injury. He made bond Sept. 6 and was rearrested on Sept. 9 for violation of a protective order and public intoxication. He bonded out on Monday. Sept. 4 -- Joseph Benjamin Brockett II, 26, of Killeen for theft over $1,500 and under $20,000 and prohibited weapons, switchblade. He made bond on Sept. 5. Sept. 3 -- Brenda Lynn Salazar, 39, of Lampasas for possession of marijuana under two ounces and possession of a dangerous drug. Bond was posted the same day. -- Randall James Recker, 33, of Lampasas for assault causing bodily injury. He made bond on Sept. 4. Sept. 1 -- Tammy Michelle Cook, 21, of Lampasas for driving while intoxicated. She bonded out the same day. -- Daniel Alexander Howard, 20, of Lampasas for U.S. Army desertion. He was released to Fort Hood officials on Sept. 6. -- Ted Paul Horn, 69, of Goldthwaite for driving while intoxicated; resisting arrest, search or transport; accident involving injury or death; and a Brownwood warrant for harassment. He was released from jail the same day after posting bond. Aug. 31 -- Jason Randle Harris, 21, of Lampasas for unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. He bonded out the same day. * * * Sept. 5 -- Charges against Timothy Michael Cockburn, 67, of Lampasas were rejected by the Lampasas County Attorney's Office. He had been arrested Aug. 11 for unlawful carrying of a weapon. |
