Vivian Roye

Funeral services for Vivian Gertrude Roye, 89, of Adamsville are Sept. 15, 2007, at 2 p.m. at School Creek Baptist Church with Pastor Jerry Perkins officiating. Burial will follow at Smith School Creek Cemetery.

Mrs. Roye died Sept. 10 at her daughter's home.

She was born May 18, 1918, in Rockmart, Ga., to Marion Patrick and Lillian May Williams Campbell.

She married Travis Vance Roye on June 14, 1944, in Fort Worth.

Mrs. Roye was a homemaker and a member of School Creek Baptist Church.

Survivors include two daughters of Adamsville, Sherrie Jo Roye and Anita Hyatt, and husband, Gordon; one son, Bobbie Roye, of Cleburne; one sister, Shirley Morris, of Keene; five grandchildren, Rhonda Belanger and husband, Shane, Amber Edward and husband, Boyce, Travis Blakley and wife, Patrice, Heath Roye and Misty Roye; and five great-grandchildren, Hanah Edwards, Faith Edwards, Heather Belanger, Tate Blakley and Harley Blakley.

She was preceded in death by her husband in 1964, and by four brothers and three sisters.

The family requested memorials be made to the American Diabetes Foundation.
