Deadline nears for voters for Nov. 6 election

Texas law requires a voter to be registered at least 30 days prior to the next election.

To vote in the Nov. 6 election, advance voter registration is required in order to cast ballots in either early voting or on election day.

The deadline for voters to register to vote in November is Oct. 9.
