Funeral services for Bertha Mary Williams, 71, of Lampasas were Sept. 10, 2007, at Sneed Funeral Chapel in Lampasas. Burial was at Central Texas Veterans Cemetery in Killeen.

Mrs. Williams died Sept. 1 at Spring Oaks Nursing & Rehab in Lampasas.

She was born April 18, 1936, in Jackson, Miss., the daughter of Jack and Roberta Gaskew Allen.

She married Alea Williams on April 18, 1979.

Mrs. Williams was a homemaker and a member of Second Baptist Church in Lampasas.

Survivors include her husband of Killeen; three sisters, Ruby Pearson, and husband, Henry, of Evanston, Ill., Marie Adams, of Sondheimer, La., and Ernestine Ingram, of Pearl, Miss.; three brothers, Willie White, and wife, Jessie, of Clinton, Miss., Robert Griffin and Bobby Hill, both of Jackson, Miss.
