Mrs. Henderson
Ruthy Henderson, 65, of Lampasas died Sept. 6, 2007, at Spring Oaks Terrace Nursing Home in Lampasas.

Funeral services were Sept. 9 at Sneed Funeral Chapel in Lampasas with her son, Greg Henderson, officiating. Burial was at Oak Hill Cemetery.

Ms. Henderson was born March 21, 1942, in Monahans, the daughter of Samuel Harrison and Helen Phydelia Bishop Fowler.

She was a secretary in the technology industry for many years and was a member of Central Christian Church (Disciples of Christ).

Survivors include two sons and their wives, Greg and Laurie Henderson, and Mike and Maria Henderson, all of Lampasas; a brother, Harry Fowler, and wife, Beverly, of McKinney; a sister, Mary Anne Potter, and husband, Robert, of Dallas; grandchildren, Debra Henderson, Johnny Henderson, Tamara Henderson, Matthew Henderson and Danielle, and Ben Henderson; and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.

She was preceded in death by a son, Vic Henderson; and by her parents.

The family requested memorials be made to Cub Scouts Pack 100 of Lampasas; VistaCare Hospice, 2626 S. 37th St., Temple, TX 76504; or to the charity of one's choice.
