Pearl Church to host Aggies for Christ group

Aggies for Christ will hold a church service at Pearl Church of Christ on Sunday at 10:30 a.m.

Sponsored by A&M Church of Christ, the group has 1,200 students who perform community service projects around the state, including painting classrooms and work for elderly residents.

While visiting congregations, group members perform needed service projects.

During the service, Aggies for Christ provides teachers for Bible classes and song leaders. They will also bring a morning lesson.

AFC also travels to children's homes and does mission work while in college. Several have traveled to Russia, Africa, Australia, South America, New Guinea, Thailand and other countries.

The public is invited to the church on Sunday.
