Hospital seeks volunteers

Metroplex Health System is hosting two orientations for those interested in learning more about Metroplex Health System Volunteers Program.

An informational meeting is Tuesday from 5-9 p.m. at Metroplex Hospital in Killeen for potential volunteers.

Interested candidates are asked to meet at the Information Desk at the hospital's main entrance.

A variety of opportunities is available, such as greeting the public, escorting and transporting patients, helping on patient units and in the family waiting room, doing clerical work, working in the gift shop and driving a shuttle bus.
