Lampasas Art Club will present a six-week beginners' class for making stained-glass windows beginning Oct. 3. Class will meet each Wednesday from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Lampasas Art Gallery. Jolene Hardy-McCord will be the instructor. Renowned for her decorative glass pieces and jewelry, Mrs. McCord's work is showcased at the local gallery and shows in Ruidosa and Albuquerque, N.M.; Copper Mountain and Denver, Colo.; Melbourne, Australia; and others. All supplies for the class will be furnished for a complete window to be taken home, with the exception of a glass cutter that will be ordered for participants. Classes for beginners are $110 plus $25 for the glass cutter, and $80 for a refresher course. Fees must be paid in full by Sept. 25. To register or for more information, phone 556-9755.
