Cub Scouts sign-up set

Cub Scout Pack 100 has concluded a busy summer, including the June Raingutter Regatta Races, where Scouts made boats and directed them down water-filled raingutters.

In July, a number of Scouts participated in the Spring Ho Grand Parade. Several rode floats, others were on a firetruck and a few rode bicycles.

The final activity was a pool party at historic Hancock Springs Free-Flow Swim Area.

The new Scout year will kick off on Sept. 13 with the annual Cub Scout Sign-up Night at Kline Whitis Elementary School beginning at 6:30 p.m.

Parents or guardians need to attend with the boys. Cub Scouts is for boys in grades one through five.
