Badger tennis team rains down on Shoemaker, 16-3
      After rain and lightning delayed the match almost an hour, the Lampasas tennis team knocked off Killeen Shoemaker, 16-3, Tuesday at Badger Courts. LHS won six-of-seven doubles matches, swept the girls' singles slate and dropped just two boys' singles matches.

LHS cross country opens slate Saturday at Temple
      The Lampasas cross country team is scheduled to open its season Saturday at the Temple Invitational. The meet opens an eight-date schedule that runs through Oct. 17 and is followed by the District 25- 4A Meet on Oct. 27. The Region 4- 4A Meet is scheduled for Nov. 3 in San Antonio.
