Friends of the Night Sky attended a meeting of the Lampasas City Council on Monday to request recognition for one of Texas’ biggest assets: the night sky.
“We are asking you tonight to set aside February 2024 as Night Sky Awareness [Month],” said Dorothy Person, Lampasas Friends of the Night Sky lead volunteer for government relations.
