The report from the Dec. 8 Lampasas Cattle Auction follows.
Cattle and calves: Total cattle 651, compared to 870 last sale and 1,078 at this time last year.
Compared to last sale, feeder steers and heifers were steady to $3 lower. Slaughter cows and slaughter bulls were $1-$3 higher.
Feeder cattle accounted for 83 percent. Slaughter cows and bulls accounted for 17 percent.
