The report from the June 15 Lampasas Cattle Auction follows.
Cattle and calves: Total cattle 688, compared to 379 last sale and 593 at this time last year.
Compared to last sale, feeder steers and heifers were $5-$7 higher. Slaughter cows were $4-$6 higher, and slaughter bulls were steady.
Feeder cattle accounted for 64 percent. Slaughter cows and bulls accounted for 36 percent.
