Budget-friendly race to Grand Canyon features unique challenges

    A lot of blown tires and even a car launching into the air from a broken ball joint have been part of the experience – and part of the risk – when racing in broken-down old vehicles.

    Initiated by Lampasas native RJ Miller, “2 the Crack and Back” is a race from Lampasas to the Grand Canyon and back using vehicles that cost no more than $500.
