Basketball team kicks off season with first scrimmages

The Badger basketball team began its season with scrimmages on Saturday against three different teams.Lampasas picked up wins in all three practice games: 23-19 over Canyon Lake, 36-21 over Brownwood and 15-7 over Savio.

Badgers dominate Marble Falls to finish regular season

The Badgers flexed their muscles to close out the regular season last Friday night. They beat Marble Falls 61-7 and will carry that momentum into the postseason, which will start the week of Nov. 15.

Subvarsity football teams close season with wins

Both the Lampasas freshman and junior varsity football teams picked up wins over Marble Falls last Thursday night to close out their seasons.The JV had a dominant shutout of Marble Falls, winning 32-0. The team finishes the season 7-3 overall and 3-1 in district.

At 7-2 overall, the Badgers have one game left in the regular season with a chance to finish 8-2 and lock up at least a second-place finish in District 4-4A Division I before they head into their bye week and then the postseason.
