Three wrestlers advance to the state meet

The Badger wrestling team competed at the regional tournament last weekend, and Lampasas emerged with a regional champion and three state qualifiers.Taylor Martell is a regional champion, and she will take another run at a state title this weekend to conclude her junior season.

Lampasas soccer team shuts out Brownwood in district opener

The Badger soccer team opened district play Tuesday with a dominant, 4-0 win over Brownwood on the road.Head coach Samuel Burnside said his team didn’t start as well as they wanted, but the Badgers found their footing in the second half and played well to close the game.

Girls’ basketball season ends with loss at Burnet

The Lady Badger basketball team lost the final game of the season on the road at Burnet Tuesday night. The girls struggled on the offensive side of the ball, falling 41-24.Payton Crawford led the team in scoring with seven points. Abra White contributed six points, and Addison Borchardt added five.
