Boys’ cross country qualifies for regionals; one Lady Badger also advances

The Badger cross country teams competed at the district meet held Tuesday morning at the 580 Sports Park in Lampasas.The boys’ team finished third to qualify for regionals as a group, and Leah Phillips placed sixth in the varsity girls’ race which qualified her for the regional meet.

Badgers win barn burner at Lorena to finish non-district play

Last Thursday night was the final non-district game of the football season for the Badgers, and it did not disappoint.In a heart-pounding, back-and-forth game with the Lorena Leopards, the Badgers emerged victorious, 42-35.

Richland Springs takes win over Lometa
