Hornets win barn-burner over tough Blum Bobcats

Lometa prevailed in a thriller Friday night, taking down the Blum Bobcats 72-65. Despite two starters being out of the game, Lometa was able to rack up 574 yards on offense. The Hornets’ run game led the way, accounting for 383 yards and five touchdowns. Lometa head coach D.T.

The Lady Badgers hit the road Tuesday night for a match with a talented Conference 5A team in Shoemaker out of Killeen ISD. The Lampasas girls fought hard, but they came up short and lost in three sets. The final varsity score was 20-25, 9-25, 14-25.

Tennis team struggles in match against East View

The Badger tennis team took on a talented Georgetown East View tennis team on the road Tuesday, and things did not go their way. Lampasas started out by losing all three boys' doubles matches pretty quickly, head coach Kenneth Peiser said. The mixed doubles match resulted in a loss as well.
