The Lampasas Badgers had last week off with their bye, but they are ready to be back in action tonight. They play host to the Burnet Bulldogs on Badger Field to begin district action.

Tennis picks up tight win over Gatesville

The Lampasas tennis team traveled to Gatesville on Tuesday for its last district match of the fall season. The action started at 4 p.m. and wasn’t over until 9 p.m. The matches were close and long, according to head coach Kenneth Peiser. There were 11 tiebreakers played in the 19 matches, he said.

Volleyball falls to Jarrell on the road

The Lady Badger volleyball team traveled to Jarrell Tuesday night for another district contest. The girls were looking for their first district win of the season, but they came up short, losing 15-25, 12-25, 18-25.
