The Badger soccer team played host to Stephenville last Friday night, and after a challenging 80 minutes with the district leaders, they were beaten 4-2.

Softball team finishes 2-2 at tournament in Hyde Park
Hunter King
The Lady Badger softball team headed to Hyde Park last weekend for four games in a tournament, and they ultimately split them 2-2.
They started with a forfeit win over Brookhill, which had to drop out of the tournament at the last minute.
Then Lampasas played a good Belton team and lost 8-1.

The young Lady Badger soccer team continued the growth process that has defined their season with a tough test against Stephenville last Friday night. Lampasas lost 5-0.

Badger baseball splits games at weekend tournament

Tournament season officially has started for the baseball team, as the Badgers went to Clyde for three days last weekend and finished 2-2 over the four games.
The team started with a 10-0 win in five innings over Jim Ned.

Basketball season comes to end in bi-district playoff round

The Badger basketball team had a successful season in 2023-2024, as they won 25 games and secured a spot in the playoffs for a fourth consecutive season.
They found themselves in a bi-district matchup with a very physical, athletic opponent in Waco Connally.

Badger soccer picks up big win in Brownwood

The Lampasas boys’ soccer team is in the middle of its best season under three-year head coach Samuel Burnside. The Badgers put another feather in their cap Tuesday night when they traveled to Brownwood and beat the Lions 3-1.

Junior varsity Lady Badgers finish as district champions

The junior varsity girls’ basketball team ran the table in district play this season to finish as undefeated district champions with a team filled largely with freshmen.
The girls went 8-0 through district play, and they won most of those games by double digits.
