Lampasas tennis team plays first match of new fall season

Last Thursday marked the beginning of the fall tennis season, as the Badgers hosted Leander Glenn in a shortened match.The Lampasas team swept the girls’ doubles but fell in the three boys’ doubles matches and lost the mixed doubles match. That put the host team down 3-4.

Lampasas cheer team participates at camp in San Antonio

The Lampasas High School cheer team traveled to San Antonio to attend the annual National Cheerleaders Association camp at the University of Texas at San Antonio.The team consists of a varsity squad, a junior varsity squad and a freshman squad, as well as the school mascots.

The summer is coming to an end, and fall is around the corner. That means volleyball season is here, as practice started officially Monday and school begins Thursday.There is a lot of returning talent for the Lady Badgers.

Youth football camp taking place this week
