The Toughest 10K in Texas drew a record crowd during Spring Ho this year as around 650 participants lined up in front of Lampasas Middle School to take on the challenge.
Top finishers overall in the 10K were Erik Grover of Lorena and Danielle Toms of Temple.
The start time for the race was 7 a.m., but competitors showed up way earlier than that last Saturday to warm up or register.
