The 20th year of the ATLAS 4000 cycling tour took off from Stoneledge Winery in Lometa on Saturday morning.
The group from The University of Texas is riding across the country to Alaska, with periodic stops to provide education and funding for cancer research.
About half the riders in Lometa were volunteers who are participating in 25mile and 50-mile stretches of the venture...
