The Lady Badgers traveled to Salado last Thursday for their final game before district action begins this week. The Lady Eagles won 10-8, but Lampasas showed a lot of fight after trailing early in the game.
The Lady Eagles put up a six spot in the second inning due to a combination of timely hitting and some defensive mistakes by the Lady Badgers in what was very windy playing conditions.
