The Lady Badgers kicked off their first regularseason softball action over the weekend during a tournament played in Harker Heights.
The girls finished 5-2 overall with wins over Ellison (10-2 final), Florence (7-1 final), Round Rock McNeil (10-0 shutout), Gateway (7-6) and Bastrop (11-5 score).
Their two losses were a 6-3 defeat at the hands of Harker Heights and an 8-5 loss to Troy.
