Lometa’s 2024 campaign started with a notch in the win column Friday, as the Hornets defeated the Gorman Panthers 32-8 in Gorman.
Sloppy conditions, penalties and turnovers by both teams dictated the way this game progressed, but the Hornets were able to play just a bit better on defense, coming away with three fumble recoveries and an interception.
