The Badgers traveled to Burnet Tuesday night for a district baseball game, and this one was tightly contested from the beginning.
Lampasas scored two runs on a couple of hits in the top of the second inning to take a lead.
The Bulldogs responded with three in the bottom of the third to take move ahead, and that is where the score would stay, as Burnet beat the Badgers 3-2.
