The Badger baseball team traveled to Jarrell last Friday for the final meeting between the two teams this season.
The Cougars came out swinging and scored three runs in the first inning. Although it didn’t become evident until later, that was all they would need in the eventual 4-1 win over the Badgers.
Tak Stinnett pitched all seven innings, giving up eight hits and striking out four.
