Lampasas will move on to the playoffs with a perfect 8-0 regular-season record, including a 5-0 district performance. The Badgers beat Fredericksburg 56-20 at home on Friday after taking a 42-0 lead in the first half.  Running back Jack Jerome scored the Badgers' first two touchdowns.

Badgers near rare feat of perfect regular season

The Badgers are one win away from an undefeated regular-season record as they host Fredericksburg in the district finale Nov. 6. In 1925, the Badgers reportedly went undefeated and unscored on, in the days of three-yards-and-a-cloud-of dust offenses.

Regional race approaches

Cody Hinson is one of three Lampasas qualifiers to the upcoming regional cross country meet in Lubbock. Hinson placed third at the district race last week. Brooke Coffman and Raelean Sutton qualified for the Lady Badgers.
