The Nov. 2 Constitutional Amendment Election offers voters statewide an opportunity to ratify or deny changes to the Texas Constitution proposed by lawmakers during the 87 th Texas Legislature. Eight propositions are on the ballot. Here are the Dispatch Record’s recommendations.

County officials seem uninformed

On the outside looking in, I am amazed at the simple negligence of our elected officials. Mainly, the county commissioners. As a new voter, I continue to be amazed about the shenanigans our somewhat “informed” officials get us constituents in. It is no wonder Lampasas County remains stunted.
