Ms. Buchanan

Doris Louise Wilson Buchanan, 78, of Brazoria died Feb. 26, 2023, in her home. Funeral services were held at C.T. Baker & Sons Funeral Home in West Columbia on March 3. Visitation took place there on March 2. A visitation also was held in Lampasas at Sneed-Carnley Funeral Chapel on March 6.

Mrs. Walter

Patricia Eunice Walter of Marble Falls died in her home on Feb. 26, 2023. She was 85 years old. Pat was born in Rolette, North Dakota on June 30, 1937 to Eunice and Almore Christianson.

Mrs. Oliver

Clydene Oliver’s life began May 7, 1938. She was the second child of Woodson and Willora Young Terrell. She grew up with her two brothers, Billy Earl and Jerry, and her sister, Judy, on a farm in Lockney, Texas. Clydene loved sports and made the varsity basketball team her freshman year in Lockney.

Mrs. Irizarry

Irene Solano Irizarry, age 50 of Kempner, died Feb. 20, 2023, surrounded by her family. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Feb. 25 at Viss Family Funeral Home in Copperas Cove. Visitation with the family will be one hour prior to the service. Irene was born on Jan.

Mrs. Meeks

Janice Kay Meeks, 82, formerly of Lometa and Bryan, died on Feb. 12, 2023, in Cedar Park. Visitation will be held at Sneed-Carnley Funeral Chapel on Feb. 24 from 6-8 p.m. Graveside services will be at Long Cove Cemetery in Lometa on Feb. 25 at 2 p.m.

Mr. Haedge

Visitation for Kenneth Lee Haedge, 83 of Killeen, will be held Feb. 17 at 10 a.m. at Life-Way Fellowship in Killeen. Funeral services will follow at 11 a.m., also at LifeWay Fellowship. Burial will follow in the Pidcoke Cemetery. Pastor Jimmy Towers will officiate the funeral and burial. Mr.

Mrs. Romig

Wanda LaDell Price O’Hair Romig died on Feb. 5, 2023 at her home in Evant. Her favorite activities were anything that included her horses. She always said her only unfulfilled dream was to be a “great cutter.” LaDell was preceded in death by her husband, Dan Romig; her parents, D.C.

Mr. Johnston

Mr. Roland L. Johnston, 88, a longtime resident of Kempner, died at his residence on Feb. 3, 2023. He was born at his home in Lincoln, Nebraska, one of seven children to Elmer and Jenny Johnston. Mr. Johnston was in the Lincoln Nebraska National Guard, then served in the U.S.

Ms. Ratliff

Mary Joan (Parker) Ratliff of Bartlett, Texas, died on Feb. 4, 2023. Although she was born in Arizona in 1935, Joan’s family settled in Henderson, Texas, before purchasing a cattle ranch in Lampasas. Joan graduated as valedictorian of the Lampasas High School Class of 1952.
