Patsy Jean Brewer Mixon died on May 4, 2026.A longtime resident of Lampasas County, Patsy was born on Sept. 9, 1947 in Lawton, Oklahoma, to Jesse Lee and Hattie Irma (Clarke) Brewer.On Sept. 1, 1967, she married the love of her life, Marion Lee Mixon, in Wichita Falls, Texas.

Mr. Bowen

Larry Wade Bowen, 85, died peacefully on April 21, 2026.He was born on April 11, 1941, in Killeen and later made his home in Lampasas.Larry enlisted in the United States Navy in 1959, serving aboard the USS Herbert J. Thomas and the USS Hector.

Mr. Bocanegra

Arthur C. Bocanegra, 80, of Lampasas, died on April 27, 2026.Rosary will be recited at Sneed-Carnley Funeral Chapel in Lampasas on May 4 at 6 p.m., with visitation to follow until 8 p.m.The Funeral Mass will be held at St. Mary Catholic Church on May 5 at 10 a.m.

Connie Snow Muegge was born in Deming, New Mexico, on March 31, 1944, and died on April 28, 2026, in Temple, Texas.Services will be held at Sneed-Carnley Funeral Chapel in Lampasas on May 2 at 3 p.m., with visitation an hour prior. Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery.

Mrs. Raley

Julie Marie Davis Raley, 73, died on March 20, 2026.Visitation with family will be held from 4-6 p.m. April 30 at Sneed-Carnley Funeral Chapel in Lampasas.Funeral services will be held at Lampasas Methodist Church on May 1 at 10:30 a.m. Afterward, a military burial will take place at 2 p.m.

Ms. Tooley

Suzanne was born to Walter and Viva Zimmerman on Oct. 13, 1946, in El Campo. She later moved to Lampasas her mother’s hometown -- in 1995, where she lived until her death on April 19, 2026.She attended business school in Austin and went on to build a long and dedicated career.

Mrs. Boyd

Ada Ruth Boyd, 83, was born on Jan. 5, 1943, in Burnet to William August and Mable (Rogers) Schlomach. She died on April 13, 2026 at St. David’s Hospital in Austin after a brief illness.

Wanda Jean Berry, 84, died on April 15, 2026, at her home in Abilene.Visitation will be held at Sneed-Carnley Funeral Chapel in Lampasas from 6-8 p.m. on April 27.Funeral services will be held on April 28 at Sneed-Carnley Funeral Chapel, at 2 p.m., with interment to follow at Watson Cemetery.
