Mrs. Peters

Vicky Peters of Lampasas died unexpectedly on May 7, 2026, at the age of 42. She was born on June 16, 1983, in Lampasas.

A celebration of her life will be held at Grace Fellowship Church on May 14 at 11 a.m. Sneed-Carnley Funeral Chapel has charge of arrangements.

Vicky was the daughter of Robert and Marion Darlene Carroll, who preceded her in death. She grew up surrounded by the warmth and love of her family.

She graduated from Lampasas High School in May 2001.

Her early years were marked by a sense of joy and an infectious smile that could brighten any room.

Vicky found her true calling as a wife and mother. She married Ierome Peters 18 years ago, and they built a beautiful life with their two sons, Jeremiah and Joshua. Vicky’s boys were her world, and she found immense joy and pride in nurturing their dreams and watching them grow.

Vicky was a woman of boundless generosity and kindness. Her career in customer service allowed her to touch many lives, as she was always ready to lend a helping hand and offer a warm smile. Those who knew her best say she would gladly give you the shirt off her back, placing others before herself.

Her interests were diverse. Vicky had a passion for plants and chickens, finding peace and joy in their simple beauty. She also loved shopping, a pastime she often shared with her family and friends. One of her favorite things to do was playing board games with her family and friends. Her life was a tapestry of these simple pleasures.

Vicky is survived by her husband, Ierome; her two sons, Jeremiah and Joshua; her brother, Bobby Gene Carroll, and wife Liz, along with Vicky’s nieces Jemma and McKenna Carroll; and her sister, Tammy and husband Lee Martin, along with their children Allison, Katelyn, Vivien, Lauren, Gwendolyn, Madeline and Nathan.

In lieu of flowers, the family requested donations to be made to the Cadence Bank account set up for her husband and children.
