Mrs. Disharoon

Mrs. Frances Disharoon, 83, of Lampasas, died peacefully on Aug. 1, 2026, surrounded by her family.

Frances was born on Oct. 13, 1942, in Eagle Pass. She made her home in Lampasas, where she became known for her kindness, generous heart and dedication to serving others. Whether through her work, volunteer efforts or time spent with family, Frances left a lasting impression on everyone she met.

She enjoyed a distinguished career as a tax collector with the Board of Equalization, where she served with professionalism, integrity and commitment.

After her retirement, Frances became a volunteer at the Lampasas Public Library, where she enjoyed helping others and sharing her love of learning.

On June 14, 1985, Frances married Millard Disharoon. Together they built a life centered on faith, family and enduring love. Frances was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Nothing brought her greater happiness than spending time with her family and celebrating their accomplishments.

She is survived by her husband, Millard Disharoon; her son, David Yarbrough of Humble; her daughters Debra McMasters of Sacramento, California, and Diane Callaway of Lampasas; grandchildren Kyra Wells, Justin 'Junior' McMasters, Tara Rania and Brittany Ebeling; great-grandchildren Walton, Madison and Justin Junior; and many extended family members.

Frances will be remembered for her warm smile, compassionate spirit and unwavering love for those around her.

A memorial service will be held Aug. 8 at 2 p.m. in the Fulton Family Funeral Home Chapel.
