Mr. Davis

Harold Franklin Davis, 78, of Lampasas, died peacefully on June 16, 2026, at his residence.

He was born on Dec. 16, 1947, in Paintsville, Kentucky, to O.W. Davis and Deloris (Crum) Davis.

Harold was a loving husband, father and grandfather who faithfully served his country in the U.S. Army. He served during the Vietnam War and retired from duty at the rank of E7.

After his time in the military, he was an overthe- road trucker. Harold retired from this job and was on a third vocation when it became physically impossible to continue. He loved to stay busy, and retirement was hard for him.

Above all, Harold had faith in his Lord and Savior.

Harold was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Bruce Davis.

Survivors include his wife of 60 years, Sharon Davis; sons Scott Davis and wife Mimi, Barry Davis, and Tim Davis and wife Vanessa; brothers Walter Davis, David Davis and Joe Davis; sisters Haley Preece, Doris Blackburn and Elizabeth Sue Warth; grandchildren Rachall, Bradley, Caleb, Logan, Elena and Justice; and great-grandchildren Layla, Steele and Frankie Louise.
