Agency will limit access to antibiotics for livestock producers

On June 11, 2023, feed stores and other outlets no longer will be able to purchase or sell antibiotics directly to livestock producers. Any producer who has an animal that will need a course of antibiotic treatment will not be able to administer the required medication without a prescription from a veterinarian.
