Lampasas cheer team finishes third in the state for 4A-Division I

    The Lampasas High School cheerleaders competed in the University Interscholastic League Spirit State Championships on Jan. 13 in Fort Worth.

    Fifty-one teams were entered in 4A-Division I and following the preliminary round, the top 20 teams moved onto the championship round, head coach Shannon Lindsey said.

    Lampasas finished fifth in the preliminary round.
