Lampasas Animal Shelter is holding an adoption and training event on Saturday, in honor of National Train Your Dog Month.
The event, which the shelter is co-hosting with the Williamson County Regional Animal Shelter, is from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. People can come adopt a pet for free during this time, officials said in a news release.
