The new year is adding new faces to the city of Lometa’s list of employees.
Lometa City Council met last Tuesday for its regular January meeting and approved the hiring of a city secretary to replace Lindsey Grant, who resigned last month.
Council members accepted Grant’s resignation in December and posted the job opening shortly thereafter. Elizabeth Lambert started in the position on Jan. 3.
